We lit up

we went dark

we manifested the hell

out of our new moon intentions.

Per the optimization bros, we leveled up–

dread, that old pal,

stepping into the frame

like a reality show host with the release form,

the prison van idling at the curb.

We got past it, not to be confused

with getting over it–

we studied the New Regime, which is to say,

the Old Regime.

We came, we saw, we learned it

in the Idiot’s Guide to whatever.

Booyah! Night pummels

the landlocked heath.
